A story of two friends who visit Zakopane city located in the Tatra Mountains (Poland). There, during one of their trips, they decide to explore an unmarked cave, located far from any tourist trail. As a result of their imprudence they get lost in a labyrinth of cave corridors and can rely only on each other to survive. After three weeks, in mysterious circumstances, one of them manages to find an exit and leave the cave. Being physically and psychically exhausted he is hospitalized and when questioned by the police he gives confusing reports and is unable to clearly state what exactly had happened. Psychological defense mechanism represses his memories and pushes them into his subconsciousness. This leads to him being accused of negligent homicide of his friend. He starts to attend the counselling sessions with a psychologist but still he slowly loses his mind – he is troubled with nightmarish visions and traumatic fears. Each such experience brings him closer to the truth...
