Inspired by educational filmstrips and slideshows of the 1970s and 80s, Lithium Nuke Magick is a lo-fi-sci-fi experimental collage narrative about the chemical element Lithium and its place in the universe. Follow the subaudible tone as each slide beams you back to the atomic age, and learn about the hidden history of this rare and unstable component, and its relationship with science, medicine and the occult. Created by elusive underground artist Psycho Gnostic, Lithium Nuke Magick originally premiered as a 35mm carousel slideshow as part of the 'New Experimental Works' series at the legendary Other Cinema in San Francisco, California. A psychotronic tribute to synchronicity and obsolete media . . . and it's all true.
